How to get there

The brewery is very close to the Minster, the cathedral of Ulm.
If you are already in the city center, head for the back side of the Minster and turn right into “Kramgasse”. The Barfüsser will be on you left hand side after 50 m.

If you want to go by public transport, you can take the Bus No. 4, 5, or 6 until you reach the stop “Rathaus Ulm”. The brewery will be directly in front of you.

The social program features a guided tour through the city, starting 6 pm on Tuesday, September 9th. The meeting point is the “Stadthaus” (City House) in front of the Minster shown below on the left.

How to get there

From the conference venue it is easiest to take the tram line 2 in the direction of “Kuhberg”, get off at the stop “Hauptbahnhof” (Central station), and just follow the main shopping road until you reach the Minster.

How to get there

The easiest way to reach the conference site is by public transport. Take, for instance, the tram line 2 in direction of “Science Park II”. This line stops at “Ehinger Tor” and “Hauptbahnhof” (Central station).  

The stop closest to the conference venue is called “Botanischer Garten” (Botanical Gardens). Here, look out for a green building with an ambulance in front and go in this direction. The workshop is taking place in the building just opposite the green one (red star). In the picture below, you can see the building in the background on the left-hand side.

In case your public transport connection terminates at “Universität Süd” (University South), just turn right when facing the main entrance and follow the road until you see the street “Meyerhofstrasse” (blue broken line) on the left. The conference takes place in the first building on the left.

If you come by car, you can park in the parking lot in “Helmholtzstrasse” (green P on the map). Follow the road back to the roundabout and then head towards the green building as described before.

The conference dinner will take place at the “Gaststuben im Zunfthaus der Schiffleute”, a traditional restaurant in the heart of Ulm, on Wednesday at 7 pm. It is located in the “Fishermans’ quarters”, a lovely area perfect for strolling and visiting Danube river.

How to get there

If you approach the Minster Square coming from “Hirschstraße”, turn left when you see the City house and go down the street “Lauterberg” until you reach a small stream. Here, turn left and follow the stream on the left side of its banks. After passing under a bridge, take the second bridge to cross the stream. Cross a second bridge ahead and turn left afterwards into “Fischergasse”. Follow that street until the restaurant appears on the left.
